The Diamond Mine 11u won their first championship of the 2022 spring season in their 2nd tournament of the year. The Diamond Mine 11u defeated the Athletes Lab decisively 12-3 on Sunday to advance to the championship game. Carson Bell, Bryce Stephenson, Zane Bodnar and Seaver Worley all pitched to help the team advance.
In the championship game, the 11u faced the Ramblers that they had lost to on Saturday. In a tip and tuck, back and forth slugfest, the 11u came out on top 13-12. In a game with that many runs a clutch bunt by Bryce Stephenson scoring Jeremy Radziminski was crucial in the victory. Seaver Worley and Zane Bodnar were instrumental in the win as the team rallied around their pitching performances.
