Diamond Mine 13u Wins Championship

The Diamond Mine 13u went into Tennessee this past weekend and dominated the tournament coming back 4-0 on the weekend to secure the Championship.

Deegan Randall was dialed in at the plate on Saturday, tallying four hits and leading Diamond Mine 13U to a 16-2 win over East Tennessee Select.
Diamond Mine 13U scored five runs in the fifth inning. Eli Chambers, Jesse Danner, and Randall powered the big inning with RBIs.
Danner got the start for Diamond Mine 13U. He went four innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out four and walking zero.

In Game Game 2, The Diamond Mine 13U took the lead late and defeated Jefferson County Patriots 7-4 on Saturday. Mason Anderson and Deegan Randall each managed two hits to lead Diamond Mine 13U.   Garrett Case was on the hill for Diamond Mine 13U. He went three and a third innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out four.

In Game 3, Deegan Randall threw a gem on Sunday for Diamond Mine 13U, allowing zero runs and besting Tennessee Impact 13U by a score of 10-0
Diamond Mine 13U put up eight runs in the second inning. Diamond Mine 13U put the pressure on, led by by Danner and Ring, a walk by Ray, a single by Randall, and an error on a ball put in play by Ray.

In the Championship game, The Diamond Mine 13U snatched the lead late in the game in a 10-5 victory over Johnson City Thunder 13U on Sunday. The game was tied at five with Diamond Mine 13U batting in the top of the fifth when Mason Anderson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.   In the first inning, Diamond Mine 13U got their offense started. Jesse Danner drove in two when he tripled.  Danner and Case each collected two hits to lead Diamond Mine 13U to the championship.
